2020 Dirac Lectures: Chung-Pei Ma

As part of the 2020 Dirac Lectures series, Chung-Pei Ma, Judy Chandler Webb Professor of Astronomy and Physics at the University of California, Berkeley, will present lectures on “Implications of gravitational waves detection for supermassive black-hole astrophysics and cosmology” from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, and 1 - 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.

The Florida State University Department of Physics will host the 2020 Dirac Lectures from Oct. 19 through Oct. 23. Organizers are hosting this year’s event online through Zoom because of the coronavirus pandemic.
