The ability to find and discover data is vital to the success of a research project. However, with the vast amount of data hosted online in repositories, databases, and websites, it can be difficult to sort through and find data that is relevant to your project. This workshop will provide a broad introduction to the terminology and concepts applicable to data in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, along with common and (not so) common places that data can be found and strategies for finding it.
