Introduction to HPC/Slurm and Open OnDemand - Data @ Your Desk - Hybrid Workshop

Did you know that students and faculty at FSU have access to a very powerful research compute cluster?
This workshop will cover the basics of using the High Performance Computing cluster (HPC) to run computing jobs. It is a great introduction for users new to the HPC or those who wish to brush up on current best-practices and workflows for using the HPC at FSU.

Specifically, this workshop will cover:

  • How the HPC works
  • What the Slurm Scheduler is and how to use it
  • Slurm job submission and job management commands
  • How to run compute jobs on the HPC
