About this Event
View mapThis symposium, taking place in the William Johnston Building from February 3-5, 2023, invites scholars, practitioners, artists, and educators—from the community and the academy—to register for the 11th Art & Education for Social Justice Symposium. The goal of this interdisciplinary event is to include and amplify voices often on the margins of academia and to share theories, methodologies, and results of art and education practices that strive to have a direct public impact. The encounter will focus on the guiding question: How are art and education inspiring, affecting, and promoting social change?
Hosted by the Department of Art Education at Florida State University in partnership with the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art and The School of Social Work.
