Bridging the Gap: Supporting English Learners Across Content Areas

Join the FSU School of Teacher Education as we welcome Dorina Sackman for a special workshop on the importance of ESOL in teacher education and our community. You will learn strategies for ESOL instruction and will also have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other teachers and ESOL specialists.

The program will feature a keynote address from Ms. Sackman, entitled “B.E.L.I.E.V.E.! in Your Why! Bringing Out the ForeverFire of the Fierce Florida Educator!” as well as two one-hour workshops (“Creating Culturally Relevant Teachers in Crucial and Relevant Times” and “Creating Academic Literacy Learning for ALL Students!”). Refreshments will also be provided.
