Rachel discusses the politics and connotations of Niki de Saint Phalle's early tirs, in which the artist offered a .22-caliber rifle to participants and invited them to feu à volonté, to fire at will.This spring the Department of Art History hosts a series of alternating lectures and tea with the faculty on Friday afternoons. Join us in the Art & Design Library (2020 WJB) for a casual tea with the faculty. All Art History grads, majors, and minors welcome – bring a friend! On alternating Fridays, join us in G40 WJB for public lectures by Art History professors and doctoral candidates.
