Join us for a university-wide Spring Conversation Series on Topics in Diversity & Inclusion in Research and Teaching! This series of events are sponsored by the FSU President’s Council on Diversity and Inclusion, and will take place from 11:30-1:30 PM in the Nancy H. Marcus Great Hall on the 4th floor of the Honors, Scholars & Fellows House on the following three dates: Friday, 2/1, Thursday, 3/28, and Friday, 4/12/2019. Members of the Program for Instructional Excellence (PIE) and the Fellows Society joined together to create DIRECTO, the Diversity & Inclusion in Research and Teaching Organization to organize these initiatives. Each event aims to have an impact on a significant portion of the campus community and will be open to all students, faculty, alumni, and staff.

Details

Each Conversation Event is organized in two parts. The first begins at 11:30 AM, with a presenter or presenters leading a conversation on the topic designated for that day. We will then have lunch from 12:15-12:45 PM (lunch is included, but be sure to indicate if you plan to stay for lunch when you register). The second part is after lunch and will feature a second presenter or presenters leading another conversation on the topic designated for that day.  Presentations will be designed in formats conducive to encouraging conversation and participation on issues related to diversity, inclusion and equity.
