Join Students for a Democratic Society as we have an emergency protest in response to the racist, homophobic, and transphobic attacks that occurred at the FSU Football game on September 5th! We have to let the administration know that they MUST take immediate action in response to these attacks. NO DISCRIMINATION is allowed on campus and we expect that these students be held accountable! At the FSU vs Notre Dame game, sorority and fraternity members in the student section harassed and committed a hate crime towards Black, Brown and Queer students sitting near them. We are letting the administration know that FSU continues t be a dangerous place for minority students. We have a series of demands we are posting on our social media: @TallySDS. We are aware that FSUPD was complicit in these attacks by forcing the victims to leave while protecting the Greek organizations that committed these attacks. We have also seen an influx in concerns surrounding FSUPD racially profiling students on campus. We will have speakers who were victims of these crimes! We will be meeting at Westcott Fountain at 3:30 PM on September 17th. Please wear a mask!
