**POSTPONED** Faculty Chamber Recital: Marcía Porter, soprano with faculty Jazz (UMA) - Ticketed


This event has been postponed until further notice in anticipation of inclement weather from hurricane Irma.

The FSU College of Music is pleased to present: The Rhythms of Brazil: Bossa nova, samba, and choro. This concert will feature Marcía Porter, soprano, and Jazz faculty as they perform the music of Tom Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho, and others. Sample songs for the evening include: “Waters of March,” “The girl from Ipanema,” “Desafinado,” “Aquarela do Brasil,” ‘Triste,” “Agua de beber”, and more.
