Welcome to the FSU Seminole family, where you will be challenged, inspired, and introduced to university traditions. Convocation is Florida State University's official welcome for all first-year students, where we celebrate the Class of 2030’s entry into higher education and induct them into a community of learners. Convocation invites our first-year students and their families to fully embrace their student experience and understand the expectations that come with being a Seminole. At Convocation, students will sign their name in the FSU PC family book and receive some FSU swag. In learning more about the university, our first-year students will create their unique identity as a class and envision how they can positively impact the world as a member of the FSU community.
