The FSU College of Music, FSU Flute Studio, and Flute Association at FSU are proud to present FSU Flute Day 2019 on Saturday, November 23, 2019! Our guests are Karl-Heinz Schütz (principal flutist with the Vienna Philharmonic) and Elizabeth Goode (Professor of Flute at Valdosta State University). This event, located at the FSU College of Music, is free and open to the public and will feature a number of hands-on opportunities such as a warmup session, intonation class, extended techniques class, and flute choir reading session. It will have an exhibit hall featuring Emmanuel Flutes, Flutistry Boston, and Beethoven and Company.
