FSU Panama City and Gulf Coast State College present our annual Black History Month celebration event featuring Dr. Maxine Montgomery.
Dr. Montgomery is a FSU Professor of English and Chair of the President's Task Force on Anti-Racisim, Equity, and Inclusion. She is also the author of The Apocalypse in African-American Fiction; The Fiction of Gloria Naylor: Houses and Spaces of Resistance; Race, Culture, and History: New Critical Essays on the Fiction of Toni Morrison; and The Post-Apocalyptic Black Female Imagination.
This event will also feature Samantha Crawford, FSU student and classically trained violinist.
Limited seating will be available in the Holley Lecture Hall (face coverings and social distancing required). The event will also be streamed via Zoom.
