FSU Homecoming Parade

The annual Homecoming Parade, organized by the Student Alumni Association, will begin at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Maxine Montgomery will serve as Grand Marshall. Maxine Montgomery, a lauded professor in the English Department since 1988 and an impactful scholar whose work has risen to the pinnacle of African American Studies, was also  recently named FSU’s Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor. The annual parade celebrates student organizations and members of the FSU and Tallahassee community, such as the FSU Homecoming Court, Marching Chiefs, the Flying High Circus, Golden Girls and royalty of the Seminole tribe. The parade will commence at the Tucker Center and end at Westcott Fountain.
