“Climate Adaptation and Resilience”

Adverse impacts from climate change are already occurring across the globe.  Given that even aggressive mitigation efforts are unlikely to lessen such impacts in the near term, households, firms, and governments are considering actions to limit the impacts from climate change. Efforts to alleviate adverse climate change impacts are known as adaptations and resilience and are a promising approach for reducing the damage from climate change.  This talk will discuss estimates of how much adaptation and resilience measures can alleviate climate impacts and recent adaptation and resilience efforts and their effectiveness.

Hosted by the College of Business, Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance

* Two days following the FSU-Miami football game
