Supporting your Work in the Arts

The Office of Proposal Development will host a Faculty workshop on Supporting your Work in the Arts on Friday, January 25th 9am-10:30am.  This panel presentation is geared towards early-career faculty or faculty at any level interested in learning more about grantsmanship to fund their performances or exhibitions. The panelist include:

Lilian Garcia-Roig, Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in Visual Art, Department of Art

Matthew Lata, Professor and Stage Director of the FSU Opera, College of Music

Carla Peterson. Director, Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, School of Dance

Peggy Wright-Cleveland, Director of Faculty Development, Office of Faculty Development and Advancement

Learn how to effectively identify grants, awards, residencies, or fellowships to support your work in the arts! Attend this panel presentation to:

  • Learn key proposal writing strategies specific to your field
  • Learn how to fundraise and build a funding portfolio while managing your current workload
  • Learn where to find relevant opportunities to support your work
