This is a general body meeting style event in which will be hosted by the Junior Class Council. We plan on having a guest speaker from the College of Buisness in which they will be able to lecture and give insight into what makes a great Linked-In, discussing topics from how to create an account, what the purpose of it is, how to use it, and how to best sell yourself as a candidate for future jobs on the networking application. Students will be able to interact and ask any questions they may have at the end. We also plan to have one of our council members present her Linked-in to show a student's perspective on what she uses Linked-In for and how she has it all set up. We are also looking in to allowing this event to give academic credit to certain groups such as Garnet and Gold Key Honor Society and CARE students to encourage more students to attend this helpful and informational seminar.
