Graduate Copyright Office Hours @ Strozier Library

This is an informal, one-on-one help session for postdoctoral and graduate students to seek advice about copyright. There will be two-three librarians present to assist with questions. Questions often asked are:
- Can I use an image in my thesis?
- Can I republish a figure? Do I need to ask for permission?
- Can I use my own previously published work in my thesis?
- What is Fair Use and does it apply to me?

Submission deadlines for theses and dissertations are approaching, and we're happy to try clearing up uncertainties for students surrounding copyright. Be advised we are librarians and not lawyers, we are not providing legal advice. We are not reviewing manuscripts.

Thursday, February 13 at 1:00pm to 4:00pm
