A world class pianist (Mahershala Ali) embarks on a concert tour in the 1960s through the Deep South. For protection, he hires a working-class bouncer named Tony Lip to drive him around. The two must rely on “The Green Book” to find the few spots in the South during segregation that are safe for African-Americans. Will they be able to set aside their differences to make it through? Advance screening passes are required but do not guarantee entry.
