https://mofa.fsu.edu/events-calendar/Join us for an exciting and interactive workshop where K-12 students will explore the theme of HOMO SARGASSUM through puppetry, storytelling, and hands-on art activities! Through a fun and engaging puppet show, students will learn about the fascinating world of sargassum—an important seaweed ecosystem that provides a home for many marine creatures.
After the show, students will dive into a creative art and crafting session, designing their own sea creature puppets and artwork using recycled materials. This workshop encourages curiosity about marine life, promotes environmental awareness, and fosters artistic expression, making learning about the ocean both fun and meaningful! This is a free event and is open to the public.
