Dr. Berlan is an Associate Professor in FSU's Askew School of Public Administration. His areas of interest include Nonprofit and NGO Management, Organization Theory and Behavior, Global Health Policy, Public and Nonprofit Financial Management, and International Development. Dr. Berlan has recently been researching the recovery process following Hurricane Michael's landfall in 2018. He received his Ph.D in Public Administration from Syracuse University in 2013.
