Identity in the Ottoman Empire

This exhibition is an exploration of the diverse ethnic and religious identities that coexisted in the Ottoman Empire (ca. 1300-1922). Architecture, period photography, stamps, textiles, calligraphy, illustrated documents, and interactive displays will bring to life this vast and complex period in world history.


The Museum is pleased to announce new hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. Beginning with the Fall semester, we will have extended hours on Thursdays until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday hours from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Museum will be closed on Sundays. Admission is always FREE!

The museum will be closed on University holidays unless otherwise noted.
