About this Event
View mapThe Florida State University School of Theatre is proud to present "Imogen Says Nothing" at the Lab Theatre. Bear witness to backstage chaos in Shakespeare’s playhouse. This thought-provoking, contemporary play turns 1598 inside out, making William Shakespeare the least important person onstage and Imogen the loudest voice in the room.
Imogen was probably a typo by Shakespeare, a character who never says anything despite being listed as part of the cast of Much Ado About Nothing. But in this topsy turvy comedy, Imogen is much ado about everything: a bear disguised as a human who transforms the Lord Chamberlain’s Men with her lawbreaking actions, opinionated voice, and fearless wit.
