The International Affairs Program will host an end-of-year celebration bringing together faculty, students, new graduates and scholarship recipients, with food and drinks provided. The event will feature a guest lecture by alumnus Tanner Taddeo, CEO and co-founder of Stable Sea, a Silicon Valley tech startup building autonomous global payment systems using stablecoin and AI. Taddeo’s work sits at the intersection of technology and global affairs, with experience spanning fintech, open-source payment systems, and international development.

The talk titled "The New Iron Curtain: Data, Sovereignty, and the Battle for the Global Tech Stack" explores how digital infrastructure — from financial systems to Al and cloud networks — is reshaping global power. It draws historical parallels to examine how technology is redefining sovereignty and influence today.
