Join the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy and the Center for Global Engagement for International Movie Night. It will take place on Wednesday, February 22 at 6 p.m. in The Globe Auditorium.

Join us for a screening of Garam Hawa (Scorching Wind), which presents the story of an Indian Muslim family navigating life after the India-Pakistan partition in 1947.

The event will be followed by a casual chat with Assistant Professor of Sociology Sourabh Singh, Ph.D., who will discuss the relevance of the movie for comprehending contemporary politics in India.

This event is open to all current FSU students, scholars, faculty and staff.

This event also counts toward one of the intercultural event requirements for the Global Citizenship Certificate.
