In this session we will talk about why you may want to incorporate Digital Humanities methodologies into your research practice. This session will dive into some of the history of using computers for the study of literature, history, media, and culture. We will also talk about some of the common strains of DH research and interrogate the assumption that “DH = big data.” This session is ideal for people who are DH-newcomers, DH-curious, or even DH-skeptical.
