About this Event
View mapThis workshop is brought to you by the Graduate Student Resource Center. It will be facilitated by Lawrence McEnerney, director-emeritus of the University of Chicago Writing Program.
Clarity in academic writing is good, concision is good and organization is good. But none of these matters if your writing is not seen by readers as valuable to them. Too many academics ignore value or think it is created only by content. Successful writers deploy a host of writing techniques that create value, techniques other writers do not even know exist. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn and apply these techniques.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Date & Time: Thursday, February 26, 4 PM - 5:30 PM
