Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) Meeting & Rosh Hashanah

Lunch & Learn 1: Everyone is welcome as JLSA hosts a Zoom group discussion for the Jewish new year on Wednesday, September 16th at 12:30 PM about how we can improve ourselves as members of the legal profession and lessons we’ve learned from our time in law school. This is also a great opportunity for both 2Ls/3Ls looking to celebrate their achievements and 1Ls who are looking to meet upper years and learn more about the law school experience.

Dine & Discourse 1: Both Jewish and non-Jewish students are more than welcome to join us as JLSA hosts our first annual Rosh Hashanah (Jewish new year) dinner on Zoom on Thursday, September 17th at 7:30 PM. Both students and professors (including but not limited to Professors Atkinson and LaVia) will be present as we both commemorate the Jewish new year and share the tradition with all who are interested in learning about it.

Please email Dylan Pryor at dlp12c@my.fsu.edu if you would like to attend and he will send you the Zoom info ahead of the event. We hope to see you there!
