The OLLI Walkers will lead other members on a hike beginning at the parking lot of JR Alford Park. An early highlight of our trek is the panoramic view of the flora and fauna surrounding Piney Z lake from the wooden bridge over the railroad tracks. Our path continues into Lafayette Heritage Park, along the edge of the lake, until we come to a point to reverse direction and return to J R Alford Park. OLLI’s intermediate walkers will lead the more ambitious hikers on some additional trails in these parks.
