Latinx Cultural Celebration

The Center for Leadership & Social Change, in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Latinx Faculty Staff Network, Hispanic/Latinx Student Union, and the Hispanic Graduate Student Association, is proud to host Florida State University's Latinx Cultural Celebration.

The Latinx Cultural Celebration is designed to pay tribute to the generations of Latinx Americans who have positively affected our historical, political, economic, and/or social context in the United States. This university celebration occurs during National Hispanic Heritage Month as one of a series of programs hosted in collaboration with campus partners from Sept. 15-Oct. 15.

This 2nd annual celebration will be held virtually and feature award presentations, performances, and cultural reflections from members of FSU's Latinx community. Join us for a watch party-style event as the celebration premieres online. Learn more about the program at

Erin Sylvester Philpot, Maria McIntyre and everyone else involved with the planning did a wonderful job, especially because they're involved in so many important activities. I'm grateful for their dedication, and for their support of FSU's Latinx students, faculty, and staff.
