The mission of the Student Recovery Task Force is to serve as a student advisory board for the Collegiate Recovery Program. The task force is comprised of student representatives from each of the major campus communities including, but not limited to, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Athletics, Resident Life, each of the Student Unions, and Counseling and Psychological Services. Members serve as voices for student needs related to addiction and substance misuse, ensuring the Collegiate Recovery Program generates student-based programming that facilitates academic success and advances life-long health and wellness.
Meetings are twofold: (1) an experiential learning activity related to addiction, substance misuse, or recovery, and (2) representative reports of community activities and concerns in which the Collegiate Recovery Program could collaborate or help resolve.
