You are invited to join us in an act of repair. “Mending Democracy” is an intra-active exhibition and gathering space where stitching becomes a practice of care.

Visit GALLERY 1006 in WJB (the little gallery on the first floor) from March 24 to April 4, weekdays from 3-5 PM, to mend with us. Together, we will explore how small, intentional acts of repair can hold deeper meaning for our communities and democracy.

Featuring work and participation by Merium Qureshi (Art History UROP student), Dr. Amber Ward (Art Education faculty), and Hsin Fang (Art Education PhD Candidate), this project invites you to slow down and consider the ways we can mend the social fabric around us.

We hope you’ll join us.
