Florida state University is proud to present an evening of choral music by the Collegians and the Women’s Glee Club. Directed by Dr. André Thomas, the Collegian’s program highlights music of both sacred and profane settings from composers such as John Rutter, Roger Quilter, and Franz Schubert, and presents an aural tour around the world featuring works from Estonia all the way to Australia. The Women’s Glee, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Fenton, features an eclectic offering of works that include compositions by Giordino, Paulus, and Dilworth. The program explores an expansive palette of tone color as well as Arabic rhythm and style. Come enjoy the glorious sounds of these two illustrious ensembles in this free concert on Tuesday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Opperman Music Hall.
