Middle East Film Festival

The 14th Middle East Film Festival starts on Friday, February 10th at 6 pm. This year all films will be screened in person at the Student Life Cinema. 

The films for this year are:

Feb 10 – Arab Blues (Tunisia) + Reception at 6 P.M.

Feb 19 – Foragers (Palestine) at 6 P.M.

Feb 26 – The Breadwinner (Afghanistan) at 6 P.M.

Mar 9 – 1982 (Lebanon) + Filmmaker Q&A at 6 P.M.

A reception with middle eastern food catered by the Sweet Shop and entertainment provided by the" FSU Belly dancers group" and" Aziza Middle East Ensemble" from the Music School will be held at 7:45 p.m. after the screening of Arab Blues on Feb 10.

For the closing night, we are hosting the film director, who is an FSU alumnus, for a Q&A after the screening of his film 1982. Baklava and tea will be served after the Q&A ends.

All our films and programs are free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!
