National Eating Disorders Awareness (NEDA) Week

National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (#NEDAwareness) aims to improve public understanding of eating disorders and their causes, dangers, and treatments in hopes to empower everyone to reduce risk factors and join eating disorder prevention efforts. Specifically, we want to focus on challenging diet culture to promote a more body positive and inclusive college campus at FSU.

Being on a college campus amongst a population that is highly susceptible to eating disorders and negative body-talk, this event is especially important to us. This year, the National Eating Disorders Association is using the phrase “Come as You Are!” to help promote body acceptance and encourage body positivity.

Join the movement as we accept our bodies, respect others’ bodies, and let’s work together to end the stigma around getting help. #NEDAwareness
