The Three Minute Thesis (3MT™) is a doctoral research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland, Australia. The competition supports the development of doctoral students' capacities to effectively explain their research in language appropriate for an intelligent but non-specialist audience—using only one slide. In preparation for the fall 2018 competition, this workshop will demonstrate effective and ineffective techniques for 3MT description of your research/creative endeavor and slide development.
