Join the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) and FSU Libraries for the 2026 Provost's Showcase of Scholarly Teaching. This year’s showcase, which takes place from 1 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 17, in the Strozier Library Basement. FSU faculty and graduate teaching assistants will present powerful teaching practices through 31 poster presentations and 18 roundtable discussions.

Main themes of these presentations and discussions include (1) innovative instructional design and assessment, (2) student success, support, and engagement, (3) experiential learning, professional development, and mentorship, and (4) AI & VR in teaching and learning. The event schedule and program can be found on the PSST webpage.

Additionally, some of our campus partners will host special tables to showcase their services supporting both faculty and students: The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) will be available to discuss helping students develop effective study skills and success habits; the Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) will share valuable resources and information to support graduate student success and professional development; and the Office of Digital Learning and Academic Technology (ODL) will be there to chat with faculty and TAs about how their instructional support and academic technologies enhance online and classroom instruction.

This event will highlight the exciting advancements in education happening at FSU, so please come to support and learn from your colleagues! We also highly encourage you to attend the Pre-event Social Hour from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., which will provide a wonderful opportunity to network over complimentary refreshments and beverages.

No pre-registration is needed. We look forward to seeing you there!
