Re-Presented Vision: A Photo-Based Art Exhibition

Light passes through eyes and in that brief crossing, an image is born. Through a camera, the image is reborn, a material re-presentation of vision, light acts, matter responds, and the image emerges as an event. The photograph carries what was seen, how it was seen, and by whom.

Photographs kept in family albums, found in flea markets, taken in studios, or captured during a walk are acts of mediation in which the image, the substance, the photographer, and the viewer entwine. Re-presented Vision invites viewers into this intermingling of artists and the world, where images are reborn through shared seeing. In this space, looking becomes an act of participation in which meaning is continuously remade.
