Science Night at the Collins Main Library

Topic: Cryogenics (weather permitting), backup Light

In March (weather permitting - event will take place outdoors - bring a chair), we will learn about TEMPERATURE and CRYOGENICS! Participants will explore different temperature scales and how materials change in astonishing ways at different temperatures. Really cool ;) ! 

If the weather does not permit an outside event, we will explore LIGHT. Be prepared to learn about the fun and amazing properties of light - color - lasers! Participants will learn about spectroscopy and will hands-on perform experiments with "prism glasses".
