Spring 2026 Student Entrepreneurship Expo Application

The Spring 2026 Student Entrepreneurship Expo is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your entrepreneurial venture! Whether you’re launching a new business, selling products, or promoting services, this event allows you to:

Connect with peers and like-minded entrepreneurs.
Engage with potential customers and receive real-time feedback.
Gain exposure within the FSU community and build brand awareness.

 

The Spring 2026 Expo is open to all FSU students, regardless of major.

‼️ APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD ‼️

 

📅 Event Details:

  • Location: Landis Green
  • Date: Wednesday, April 15th, 2026
  • Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

 

📋 Table Assignments:

  • Tables provided will be 8 feet in length. Participants are required bring signage, displays, and promotional materials for their table.
  • ENT3001/Experiences I students participating as part of a course requirement for customer validation may be assigned to shared tables (2-3 businesses per table) to maximize space and allow more non-JMC students to participate.

 

📍 Event Requirements:

  • Setup: Arrive by 10:00 AM on the day of the Expo.
  • Tabling Duration: You must be present at your table from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
  • Cleanup: Begins at 2:00 PM.

 

🚨Event Rules:

🚫 The sale or distribution of the following items is strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons or any item that could be considered a weapon (e.g., knives, self-defense tools, etc.).
  • Alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or any smoking-related products.
  • Any product that violates FSU's branding guidelines.

🎨 FSU Branding Notice:

  • If you plan to use FSU logos, colors, or trademarks on your products, you must ensure compliance with FSU's official branding guidelines. Visit brand.fsu.edu for more information. Unauthorized use of FSU branding may result in removal from the event.

⚠️ Additional Rules:

  • Tables are assigned and cannot be moved.
  • If you plan on using a food truck, you must receive prior approval. Please email Kaitlin Simpson at ksimpson@jmc.fsu.edu for permission.

 

🍽️ Food & Beverage Guidelines

FSU must follow state regulations and university policies regarding food distribution at campus events. In order to participate, you must comply with Florida’s Cottage Food Law and university guidelines. If you plan to sell or give away food or beverage products during the event then you must indicate your intent to do so on the application. A follow-up email will be sent to you after your application is submitted asking for the following required information:

Exact description of the food or drink product(s) you plan to sell or give away Exact description of the packaging (including if it’s sealed, individually wrapped, etc.) Full list of ingredients (if applicable — especially if allergens are involved) If your product is a beverage: Please note that FSU has an exclusive beverage contract with Coca-Cola. This means that non-Coca-Cola branded beverages may not be sold or distributed without prior written approval.

 

📩 Follow-up Communication:

  • All follow-up communication will be handled by Wil Joiner.
  • Application approvals, table assignments, and additional information will be sent out after the application closes.
