About this Event
Interested in using real‑world government data for your research but not sure where to start? This workshop is designed for graduate students who want to learn how to find and use restricted administrative data, such as tax, employment, and education records. You’ll learn the difference between public and restricted data, what it takes to get access through secure research data centers, and how IRB, faculty sponsorship, and data privacy fit into the process. Walk away with practical tips, clear next steps, and a better understanding of whether administrative data is right for your project.
If you have any questions about the workshop, please reach out to the instructors, Trip Wyckoff at twyckoff@fsu.edu, and Dr. Jessica Noblitt at jnoblitt@fsu.edu.
Reminder: You must use your FSU zoom account to log into this workshop.
