About this Event
122 N Copeland St., Tallahassee, FL
The FSU String Orchestra Camp offers an immersive music experience which works to develop students technical skills and musicianship. During this two-week camp experience, each camper will perform in one of three string orchestras and one of two symphony orchestras or the chamber orchestra as well as chamber ensembles and sectionals. In addition to orchestra rehearsals, campers will attend sectionals, take music theory, play in small chamber ensembles, participate in masterclasses, and have supervised practice time.
All campers will perform in three public performances in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.
Activities are planned for each evening. Attend faculty concerts, go bowling at Crenshaw Lanes, jump at SkyZone, Paint-A-Pot at the Art Center, and more while spending time on the FSU Campus and experiencing what it's like to be a Nole.
