Join Sustainable Public Discourse (HUM 2937) for the second installment of their speaker series, a conversation on public discourse surrounding environment and culture, with particular attention given to one of the nation's most recent ongoing debates: the effects of fracking, pipelines, and offshore drilling on regional and cultural groups. We'll be joined by Mary Maclean Asbill, Senior Attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center; and Tara Houska (Couchiching First Nation Anishinaabe), tribal attorney, and founder of the Giniw collective.
