University Symphonic Band (UMA) - Ticketed

The University Symphonic Band presents an evening of masterworks by world-renowned composers on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 pm, in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. The concert includes Intrada by visiting professor of composition and FSU alum Dr. Stephen Montague; works by Ron Nelson and Nancy Bloomer Deussen; and Wine-Dark Sea, a three-movement symphony for band by John Mackey, based on the epic tale of The Odyssey by Homer. Patrick Dunnigan is music director and conductor. This is a subscription series concert.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and non-FSU students, and free for current FSU students with a valid FSU ID.
