Taking Risks, Learning from Failure, Sharing Success: Career and Life Advice for Young Professionals

FSU alum Mark Barnebey (B.S. ‘78 Finance, M.S. ’83 Planning, J.D. ’83) gives a special talk on campus, sharing his insights, experience and tips for success with soon-to-be young professionals.

Barnebey is the attorney for the City of Palmetto, Fla. He has practiced land use and local government law for the past 30 years.

In 2018, he and his wife Marianne, a former Bradenton, Fla., city councilor,  made a generous gift to support the applied planning lab and studio in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
