The Vietnamese Student Association is a student organization that aims to create an inclusive environment to promote and celebrate Vietnamese culture. Tally By Night is the biggest and most important event held by VSA every year. This event is created to fulfill our mission of celebrating Vietnamese culture and the fond memories that were made throughout the year.

The theme for Tally By Night this year will be “A Season In Bloom”. This theme is inspired by the rustic and vintage aesthetic of Vietnamese street scenery and views. The venue will be decorated corresponding to this theme, in pastel colors and spring imagery. During this event, there will be live performances that feature modern and traditional dances from different organizations, interactive activities, and free food for attendees. The location to which the event will be held is the Wesley Center. The estimated number of attendees who will consume food is 200. With VSA’s resources and the financial assistance of SGA, VSA will bring this snapshot of home and Vietnamese culture to the FSU campus.

Although this event caters more to the Vietnamese/Asian American community, it is open and welcoming to all members of the FSU student body as well as the Tallahassee community. VSA plans to reach out to all members and those who are interested via flyers through all of its social media outlets.
