The Economics Club at FSU and the FSU Chapter of the International Association of Emergency Managers present a talk on the economics of disaster recovery and the role of philanthropy, featuring Dr. David Berlan.
Berlan is an associate professor in FSU's Askew School of Public Administration. He has recently been researching the recovery process following Hurricane Michael's landfall in 2018. His areas of interest include nonprofit and NGO Management, organization theory and behavior, global health policy, public and nonprofit financial management, and international development.
