Join the Academic Programs Office for an interactive workshop to improve your craft and style! In September, Professor Smith offers two workshops on the top ten guidelines for clear and effective legal writing. In this first workshop, we practice writing lucid, short sentences as we eliminate intrusive phrases. We also learn to use active voice and avoid nominalizations. Finally, we explore positive and parallel construction in sentences and paragraphs. Expect the usual entertaining videos and lunch. We hope to see you there!
