TPD, Police, and Their Origins: Defunding, Demilitarizing, and Dismantling

The FSU Law Black Law Students Association (BLSA) is excited to announce their panel discussion, "TPD, Police, and Their Origins: Defunding, Demilitarizing, and Dismantling," which will take place on Monday, October 5 at 4 pm. Students and alumni are invited! The panel will be moderated by FSU Law Professor Wayne Logan and panelists include Professor Jody David Armour, of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law; Professor Khalil Gibran Muhammad, of the Harvard Kennedy School; and the Tallahassee Community Action Committee (TCAC).

This is the first of BLSA’s year-long series of discussions aimed at contextualizing racism across institutions and providing a space for those interested in learning how to ensure a more equitable and unified future. A Zoom link will be emailed to you after registering at https://fla.st/2Seznc3
