The Center for Demography and Population Health is hosting the annual Charles B. Nam Lecture in the Sociology of Population.

This year's event with be a virtual lecture with Jennie Brand, Ph.D., a Professor of Sociology and Statistics at the University of California, Los Angeles, on Friday, April 28 at 12 PM.

In this talk, Brand will consider how individuals respond differently to completing a four-year college degree, using a range of different approaches, including propensity score and machine learning methods, to determine who benefits most from college.
