Move-In Event 2025

Theme: 

• Welcome Home(Coming)! or Hang w/ HOCO

• 2 day event!
• August 22nd from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• August 23rd from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

• Postcards: 

• Postcards with information about Homecoming, Spirit Force, and the week of events. 

• Bingo cards

• Students fill out bingo cards with things they are looking forward to for this semester, with filled in boxes featuring the homecoming week of events. 

100 people expected max. 250 

Audience: 

• Freshman moving into dorms 
• Returning on/off-campus residents 
• Parents and families
• Transfers

Collaborations: 

• For Friday we invited: Student Union, HerCampus, and Housing 
• For Saturday we invited: SLC, and Student Union 

Activities: 

• Bingo cards

• Students fill out bingo cards with things they are looking forward to for this semester, with filled in boxes featuring the homecoming week of events. 

• Chalk art

• Students grab chalk provided by us and decorate the sidewalks. 

• CD painting

• CDs, paint, and paintbrushes all provided by us. Students are able to decorate this CDs for their dorms/apartments.

• Yard games 

• We are borrowing spikeball and cornhole from SOI so the students that are not as crafty can enjoy their time and get to know people.

• Tote Bags

• Students grab totes provided by us and let their imaginations go wild.
